Types of construction contracts, Australian Standards in making contracts, terminologies used in contract, contract analysis, procurement simulation game.

Record the quizzes’ questions as they will be the online take home exam’s questions. Apart from achieving high rank in the simulation games’ standing, be active in the simulation game’s group as the mark will partly depend on the contributions in group discussions during tutorial. Contract analysis is used for doing the assignment, try to use the classes’ material and the Australian Standards as much as possible to do the analysis, the wider the scope of the analysis is better, not necessarily to be deep, and get used to the assignment question as the exam will have the same type of question. Just put whatever you think in the readings’ commenting tasks, the mark is hugely attributed from the quantity not the quality. All in all, this is an easy H1 subject, 10 people that I know taking this subject achieved that grade. For engineering students without any prior contract exposure, it’ll need quite some times to adapt to the terminologies because it’s like studying law but once you get used to it, it’s addictive!

Failing the assignment and exam as both contribute to 70% of the final mark, not respecting the rubric as the lecturers are strict (like most of the lecturers in the university), putting grammar error writings (use the grammar error checking app!).

Great for construction engineer in early career stage to have knowledge on contract building process, good for engineers from other disciplines to have a grasp of the basic of contracts.

Further study about Analysing Energy System, memperlajari case thermodynamic yang lebih Advanced. Guest Lecture membahas kinerja pembangkit listrik (coal, gas, liquid fuel and nuclear), dan normal lecture mempelajari perhitungan steam turbines, gas turbines and reciprocating engines.

Bobot 2 assignments masing-masing 25%, pengerjaan assignment menggunakan excel dan lumayan kompleks, disarankan berdiskusi untuk menyelesaikan perhitungan lebih cepat, dan sebisa mungkin dicicil sejak tugas diberikan.

Deadliner -_-

Main Lecturer (Mohsen Talei) digantikan oleh Pavel Panek. Penilaian tugas dan exam sangat tidak ramah jiwa. Akan sangat membantu jika mengerjakan tugas dengan baik pada subject NRE ini, karena dapat menunjang nilai akhir. Exam-nya lumayan menantang.

Core Subject dari course Energy system. Menambah ilmu terkait industri NRE dan membuka mata bahwa transisi energi perlu effort.
